Re: What curriculum do you use and why?

We use Sonlight and We've used it the past 3 yrs (1st-3rd grade.) The lesson plan (but you can tailor it to your's and your child's needs) is set for you in a 4 or 5 day format a little more structured than the free method of homescholing. I'm very pleased with the high level materials they provide and what my child is walking away with each year from her education. I also chose Sonlight because it is a Christian format and brings Christ into all aspects...history, science, etc... Being as young as she is we've already studied World History for 2 years and have begun our first year studying American History this year.
