Proteins in our (or the cat's) body are put there for a reason...usually to protect the body or to make a process function (or function better). I am wondering what the alteration may be depriving the cat of...
If it's something necessary, I think it's wrong. If it's something not necessary (less likely, but perhaps it's a holdout from ages and ages ago - something that helped in its defense in the wild...) - then I guess I'd have an easier time of it.
But I've never had to deal with cat allergies. I'm sure there's a market for it...
