Re: take or retake.....
I got some really bad ones of Andrew when he was in third grade...hair all messy, googy grin with all his missing teeth. I chose to not get them retaken since it's hard to get him to smile anyway.

I am so glad that I have them. I look back at that goofy, gawky picture and I am just in love with it now. I'd keep it and enjoy it.

This year I was at a training and my dh let Andrew go to school for pics in a shirt that says "How to Waste Time" and toothpaste on it. I kept that one too. I take my kids for professional pics at Christmas time.
