The legs and arms snap in front on the child's chest/abdomen, and the tail is a leash. It let me take her (and now Ty) to places that are busier and allowed her to walk part of the time. I find it really helpful and both my little ones think it's cool.

I definitely think a harness is needed for my kid too, lol! I can't blame him at all for wanted to get down and run around, he's just too young to fully understand to stay with me or to hold my hand. The next time I go to a theme park I will be buying 1 of those.
