Thank you. I've actually read through the Bible more than once. To be truthful, though, a lot of it I don't get. It bounces around, uses archaic language, and at times can be pretty broadly interpreted. I spent years searching. I've studied (and was baptised) with the Baptist church, the Assembly of God, the Jehovas Witnesses, the Presbyterian church. I am an educated person. I am not a churchgoer. I have yet to find one where I feel that I am actually there to learn about and worship God. It's more like a status symbol around here and a way to feel better than those around you. But, I am a firm believer in Christ. I believe that he died for my sins. I believe that he will return. I believe that He wants me to be a loving person. I just don't know what "interpretation" is right or if there even is one that is.
This isn't a vent believe it or not. I am excited for this forum. I'm excited reading the chapters that you have posted. I'm excited to hopefully hear some discussion around this. I think I may have to dust off my own bible.
