It makes me laugh that they call all these 'other' car's 'hybrids' when they do like 20 mpg... haha... riiiight...

Without intentionally turning this into a fuel economy thread, I don't get that you guys don't do diesels over here. Diesel's are HUGE in the UK, and they are not smelly and noisy like diesels of old, they are just like any other car, they just do like 50mpg, and you can get almost any car in a diesel or a petrol. It confuses me that you don't even have that choice over here

Example : Land Rover Freelander 4x4 2.2 TD4 SE 5dr - Does Town mpg = 31.0, Out of Town mpg= 42.2

I mean, if you could get your SUV and have it do 40-50 MPG wouldn't you prefer that over a petrol version SUV that does 15 mpg if you're lucky??
