"Your childs good behavior reflects how much you love them." WTH?!?
So, we were at one of my favorite stores in Dallas last week and on their door they have "Your childs good behavior reflects how much you love them." I was outraged.
I love Katie to pieces and would sacrifice my own life for her, but if you were to judge how much I loved her by her behavior that day (the day after a 14 hour day in the airport/airplane) you certainly wouldn't have thought that I loved her. She was horrid in the store. She was crumpling up a cookie and throwing it at people and spitting at them. I was horrified! The store was run by Asians and we just kept getting these nasty stares and they would talk back and forth and I'm sure we were a topic of converstation.
Katie has NEVER behaved that way before. I took the cookie away and told her she was naughty. We ended up leaving the store early, I was horrified, but also I was outraged at the sign.
What do you guys think? Have you seen this before?
