Baby Jax got on the stove. :(
Jaxon crawled on top of the oven today, twice. :'(
The first time, I was in the bathroom right after we woke up for the morning, and when I was done, I went to check on him in the living room. He wasn't there, but the kitchen door was open, so I figured he was looking for the peanut butter (his favorite!). I turn the corner to the kitchen, and there he is, sitting on top of the stove.  The oven was open, so I guess he used that as a stepping stool to get on top of the stove. ACK.
The second time happened just now. I was in my room changing my clothes. Jax was with me, but he got bored and ran out of the room. Usually he just goes into his room or the living room, so I wasn't too worried. But then I hear the oven slam open, and by the time I run into the kitchen, he's sitting on top of the stove again, proud as a peacock.
I am TERRIFIED now. Jax is rarely out of my eyesight, but he still managed twice today to get on the stove. I'm so scared that he'll climb up there while I'm in the bathroom or something, and turn on one of the stove burners. AGH!I feel like such a bad mommy! Are there child safety locks for ovens??? Help please!
