Paper Bead Necklace *w/scrapbooking paper*

Paper Bead Necklace


Use leftover coordinating patterned scrapbooking paper to roll into beads to make necklaces.



Main supplies:
  • 12 x 12 scrapbooking paper scraps
  • Washable School Glue
  • Embellishments
  • Round metal rimmed tag
  • String, rope, crafting rope, ect.. For lacing.

Basic Supplies:
  • Glue Pen
  • Scissors
  • Pencil

Instructions:
  1. Cut paper into twenty four 1”x 4” pieces.
  2. Wrap each piece around pencil and secure last one inch with white glue to form bead.
  3. Paint tag w/colors of your choice. Allow to dry.
  4. Glue any embellishments on tag with glue pen.
  5. Cut lacing to 30” and fold over. Loop label through hole in tag and tie to secure. Divide beads into two groups of twelve and bead onto both sides of necklace, alternating patterns. Tie ends to secure.
