How long did you wait to DTD with your SO/DH/DF?
and what is average for you back when you were on the dating scene (or now if you are single lookin to mingle lol).

Chris and I knew each other for a while before we got together. He had a girlfriend when we first met and I was just recently out of a bad relationship. He broke up with his GF, we 'hung out' for about 4 mos and got to be best friends.

Ok so here it is...on our first "official" date we DTD! LMAO!! It just built up for me I guess. He likes to tease me that I put out on our first date but in reality we had been together for much longer than that.

Normally I would wait a long time, which is why I havent been with many guys....sex is very emotional for me, I have a hard time just "doing it" without there being some kind of commitment involved kwim? Chris was the shortest amount of time I ever waited though lol. I remember being worried that would be it (my mom's voice kept screaming in my head "why buy the cow when you get the milk for free?!") but here we are 5 years later with a child together and so much in love. I'm glad it worked out this way, he is my soulmate.

So I am curious, how long did you wait to DTD with your SO?
