What curriculum do you use and why?

Hi there. I have tried twice to homeschool my DS with no success. Each time I gave in and sent him back to public school. I would really love to teach him at home. I now know that I have lots of weaknesses when it comes to this. I have a hard time sticking to the schedule and therefore HE has a hard time sticking to the schedule.

So, I am wondering what curriculum you are using and why you chose that particular curriculum. I know that each child is different and learns differently, but to have some idea of where to go from here would help.
My DS is 12 years old and in the 7th grade. In the past we have tried several different programs with no luck. Any advice would be appreciated..THANKS!
