bathtime
Do you bathe your child in the morning or evening? Does it relax them or do they get hyper? Do they have any cool toys that they play with? Have any of them been interested in trying to wash themself yet?

Re: bathtime
John Campbell isn't calmed by his bath - it makes him very alert. He usually takes it in the afternoon or early evening. The being covered up in a snuggly towel while mom lotions him part really calms him and he's even fallen asleep once. We've been taking a lot of showers here lately.
He has a lot of bath toys. One of his favorite things are the free cups we get for our Chuck E Cheese tokens. They have the two holes in bottom and are perfect for scooping and watching the water drain out. I put them in the dish washer when we get home so they are clean for the bath. He also has the foam letters and some other water toys that squirt and move in the water.

Re: bathtime
Kyle mainly takes a bath during the day. He sweats so much at night when he is sleeping. If he gets really dirty during the day, then he will also get one at night. Baths normally make him hyper as opposed to soothing him. That is one reason why we dont give him a bath before bed. His likes to play with his bath letters or just a cup so he can pour water over his head.
