Help! Ideas needed for a 5 yr old girl bday present - Yada, Yada, Yada

Jacob's been invited to a birthday pool party on Sunday. It's for a girl turning 5. Since I only have boys, I have no idea what to get her. Any ideas in the $15.00 range?

If she's anything like my 5 yr. old girl anything princess would be a hit. Polly Pockets and Littlest Pet Shop things are big too. I have also given several Disney Yahtzee board games for birthday presents which run about $10 at Walmart. Let us know what you decide on.

Thanks, Michelle! My 8 yr old niece is into Polly Pockets and Littlest Pet Shop so, I wasn't sure if 5 yr olds would be too. I like the Disney Yahtzee game idea a lot! We are going to Walmart tonight and I think that's what I'm going to get.

Becca just got a doodle doll and she loves hers.
And they have doodle pets that have a pet with a carrier and both can be colored.
You can also get crayola washable markers and those come off them in the wash...much more color selection.

Polly pocket, Littlest Pet Shop--those are safe bets!

At Christmas I got some neat little things at Bath & Body Works...lip balm, bubble bath, glittery roll-on stuff. You could do a little basket of stuff like that. I've also seen little Hello Kitty bath sets at drugstores here.

Games and art supplies. Target has some cool craft sets in their art section.

I just got my just turned 6 yr old niece a goodie bag filled w/kiddie lip gloss, nail polish (for kids), hair accessories, a bracelet & some princess tattoos...she loved it!

Emily LOVES all the pet shop stuff, jewelry, games, puzzles, dress up accessories (boas, hair stuff, jewels again), bath stuff...you can't go wrong. To me a girl is sooooo much easier to buy for (not just b/c I have them) but you can get them almost any toy,game, puzzle & also get into all the girlie stuff plus art supplies, anything really!

I've never known a kid that age that didn't like stickers. Target/WalMart has really cool sticker sets.

Did you get the Disney Yahtzee?

Kayla LOVES the Littlest Petshop things, Legos, anything Disney Princess, and kiddy DVDs. Hopefully she'll be in these toys for a while if that's what an 8 year old plays with!! That makes Christmas and birthdays easier!
