Not feeling movement as regularly?
So, as you guys know I have been feeling this little one since very early on. Usually a lot of movement and flutters, especially at night starting about 9pm when I lie down for the evening. I also feel it when I switch from side to side, baby usually kicks quite a bit at me when I change positions. But over the past few days I am not feeling as much and it worries me. Esepcially since yesterday to today. I do still feel a little activity but its just a poke here and there, and today havent felt baby at all since this morning. Is that normal after so much movement? Chris says maybe its because baby is getting bigger and there isnt as much room to do acrobatics but still, baby isnt that big yet! Should I be worried? How little movement is too little?

Try not to worry Tina. I think as we are busier with little ones, that we tend to not focus as much on all of the little flutters. Drink a glass of juice before you lay down, relax and watch some tv and I bet you'll feel the little bugger

It could be a growth spurt (baby sleeping a lot) or baby has turned and is kicking the placenta or your stomach.
Drink some juice, have Chris talk to it. I'm sure the baby is fine. |

Yes my last ultrasound baby was head down and so I felt the kicking higher up towards my belly button. Maybe it moved or something. Aron always liked to be transverse. I did feel baby tonight for a while on my left side, my friend and I went and got frappucinnos and I think the sugar got him/her excited lol.

Most women at 16w are just now starting to feel flutters, if then. I'd worry if you get to 20ish weeks and don't feel regular movements. Movements decrease in the very last part of the third trimester, not so much the beginning of the second when your baby still has plenty of growing to do and room to move around.

i'd say baby shifted too. perhaps you placenta is in the way i didn't feel christian for dang near 22 weeks due to my placenta placement. those things getta all the good movement. lol. i'd say try not to worry about it. and the more active you are the more likely you are to be "rocking" little one to sleep.
hugs... i |
