Need tips and ideas for shooting family portrait
So my friend and her husband are going to this charity ball tonight and they are getting all dolled up tux's etc.. She just calls me and wants me to come over and do a family picture with their two kids in her house.
So any tips would be great as far as getting everyone in focus together. She mentioned standing in front of her fireplace, which I think is a good idea because it's gorgeous stone! Then I suggested putting some tulips in vases on either side of them.
Thanks so much! I have to be there in 4 hours, so any feedback is appreciated!

Re: Need tips and ideas for shooting family portrait
is it too late? I have been trying to open this thread for the longest time, but it never opens, just "spins"...
some ideas: a "dip" pose, since they are going to a dance
one of the mom and each child
dad and each child
and while the fireplace sounds great...try doing some outside if the light is ok
