Yes, I believe it's absolutely essential to read to the kids. My kids personally like Hollywood Wives.

Is reading toddler books for your little ones really a big deal in their brain development or not? I have been wondering this and i can't seem to figure out the answer. I have found evidence to support both ways so i decided that i would ask the moms. They always seem to know the right answer.

My 4 year old loves reading The Chronicles of Narnia, and finds War and Peace a tad stuffy. ROFL
THH! Anna has enjoyed Wuthering Heights, but Gideon's more of an Odyssey guy. Anna's older though, I'm sure that has something to do with it. Of course, Merrick's still cutting his teeth on Berenstein Bears...
That's funny. I knwo Ruby first real book will be Crime and Punishment. I loved that book.

Definitely yes!
A toddler's brain absorbs everything, and a high quality book is
one of the best things to absorb.
So....Playboy isn't a good one?
I hope you don't give them a flash light. They might think they're supposed to read those books.
My oldest learned anatomy from playboy when he was 2. He could correctly point and identify a "nibble".Vicki's Secret catalogs will probably get him through high school.
