That does sound like a fun night.I hope Mason feels better soon!
Tonight, our family went to eat at Ruby Tuesday's. I was embarrassed b/c Jack was in a mood and was throwing food on the floor. When we were almost finished eating, Mason, our 11 year old, said he felt funny. He'd been sick w/ a cold this week, but nothing unusual. David asked him if he needed to go to the restroom and he said no. The next thing ya' know,![]()
all over the place! Thank heavens we were sitting in a corner.
Well, me (being the great mother that I am) catch his vomit in my hands b/c I didn't want it to hit my shoes. (It did anyhow) The poor baby yacked and yacked. Talk about clearing a resturant! David finally got him outside where he got sick again. I stayed inside and cleaned up until the waiter (who received a fat tip!) told me to stop cleaning up and that he'd do it. I felt really sorry for the couple beside us. The husband was about to hurl from sitting by us. David said he almost hurled. Men, damn they're weaker at this stuff than we are!
We're home now and it's 8:30. All 3 kids are in bed and so is David! He's running 16 miles in the morning. Just thought I'd share the fun I had at dinner tonight!

Oh no! I hope that he feels better soon. So do you think it was the food at the restaurant?

Actually, since all 3 boys have had a cold this week, I am afraid he has strep throat or the stomach virus. Either way, I told him he couldn't get near his brothers (face to face). Both viruses are going around school, so ya' never know. He didn't eat enough to let the food make him sick and he didn't eat much lunch either, so I hope it was just phlegm that was sitting on his tummy.Originally Posted by Kaylasmommie

I'm sorry, I started to laugh when reading this. It hit so close to home! And I do hope that your little one is feeling better, poor buddy.
A few years ago, I was home alone with Jackson and had to take him to urgent care because of what turned out to be an ear infection. The pharmacy we use is in a grocery store. I thought I'd quick buy some milk while we were there. I was paying at the check out, and (talk about timing!) Jackson projectile puked EVERYWHERE! On the floor, on me, and some even got on that moving conveyer belt. It was HORRIBLE.

London has thrown up at Cici's and at IHOP! LOL! it's no fun, that's for sure. I hope it was just phlem, and not the tummy bug!!!

Oh poor baby!! I can sympthaize with you and him. While preggers with Kameron I got sick @ Old Country Buffet, luckily most of it was on me and no where else. Couldn't eat there for a year! Just this past Dec Kameron puked all over DH while at JCPenney when we were trying to get our family pics done. Will agree with the men are weak statement when it comes to vomit. You would have thought it was the worst thing to ever happen to him being puked on.
I do hope it is just a stomach bug or phlem, strep is horrible to have.
Oh gosh Sara, sorry about your night! However, I must say that I might be in with those weak men. There is no way on earth that I would catch vomit! Never, no way! I saw my aunt do this with her DD once and I almost lost it. In fact, once when Brennah was little, she threw up and DH wasnt home and I was so nauseated that I had to call my sister to come help me clean it up because I couldnt without puking myself! Brennah ate hot dogs that night. It was pink. 'Nuff said.
Aimie....what are the odds??? I guess Billy and the O.G. just do not get along!
