    It's beautiful! I'm so excited for you guys - I know this is what you really want. I know we haven't talked in a loooong time (I mostly lurk now since work is so crazy) but Regan misses Jack! Did you guys move away? Where is the Funeral Home? Around here at all?

    It really is a beautiful home and your ideas for being hostess and the after care are great! The FH that my FIL's funeral was at (6 weeks before our wedding) was great about following up. The funeral director still calls my MIL once in a while to see how she is doing. Out of the 3 in town, that is the one that everyone uses. A suggestion in case it isn't already built into the FH - add speakers and a small stereo. One of the things that everyone complimented on FIL's funeral was that we had his favorite music playing in the background. It helped to remember the things he loved the most instead of hearing the sappy funeral music. Just a thought!

    That was my thought too ((right out of My Girl)) when I saw the pics & then when you said it would b 'HOME' to !!!! Thats GREAT, I LOVE how open you all are gonna b about it. I think it makes for a more peaceful welcoming enviroment. Can I change my arrangements to b done there !!!!!

    I LOVE the idea of you being the hostess & DH being the director thats GREAT !!!! I wish you all the BEST of luck . . . .

    Hey there Becky! I haven't talked to you in SO long! Good to see you around here! I know what you mean with things being hectic! Thanks for the advice too! We moved about an hour out of the city to Sandwich back in September. Jack sends Regan hugs and kisses!

    Wow, Jonda--that is so beautiful! It's warm and comforting. Old houses are so full of charm!! I love the idea of you being a hostess and offering a playroom for little ones. I think it would be so helpful for a grieveing family. Good luck!

    Ahhh my future home is beautiful I especially love that red headed child running around....do you have to pay extra for him? It's beautiful....I want to see the upstairs if you buy it.
