what kind of car do you drive? what do you WISH you drove?

ben and i have always talked about personalities and cars - how you can sometimes judge a person's personality traits by their car choice. however, i think that a person's dream car REALLY says something about them! so, what do you drive and what do you WISH you drove if there was no consideration for money at all?

DRIVE: 2001 Honda Accord, dark blue or 2005 Acura TL, gold
WISH: Aston Martin V8 vantage

Re: what kind of car do you drive? what do you WISH you drove?

I drive a tan honda odyssey..
it's pretty much what I want to be driving since luckily it has leather seats with seat warmers for the cold winter days, a DVD to entertain the kids (wasn't sure how I felt about having it in the car but now I am glad it's there), sunroof and seating to hold my grandparents and mom and teenage brother since we hang out alot.

If DH and I ever take a vacation without the kids and rented a car... would be fun to have a convertible

Re: what kind of car do you drive? what do you WISH you drove?

I have a POS 2001.... (Piece of Shit)...

Hyundai Sonata.... bleh.

I want.... hah.... I want a Toyota Prius.

It makes me laugh that they call all these 'other' car's 'hybrids' when they do like 20 mpg... haha... riiiight...

Without intentionally turning this into a fuel economy thread, I don't get that you guys don't do diesels over here. Diesel's are HUGE in the UK, and they are not smelly and noisy like diesels of old, they are just like any other car, they just do like 50mpg, and you can get almost any car in a diesel or a petrol. It confuses me that you don't even have that choice over here

Example : Land Rover Freelander 4x4 2.2 TD4 SE 5dr - Does Town mpg = 31.0, Out of Town mpg= 42.2
http://www.channel4.com/4car/road-te...ersion_id=6714

I mean, if you could get your SUV and have it do 40-50 MPG wouldn't you prefer that over a petrol version SUV that does 15 mpg if you're lucky??

Jonda... haha

I WANT a PT Cruiser... I think they are sooo cute. I love the convertible ones, but I'd take any of them!

AND... if up above that... I love the Quest. The Moonroof is SERIOUSLY cool and everything about that car is FUN AND Practical

I drive a 2004 Ford Explorer Sports Trac. Love it, just throw my bike in the back or hiking gear and off I go.

What I wish I was driving:
I wish I was driving a Jeep again =-(

Oh... and if you want a REALLY sexy car...

The Lotus Elise

Haha.. and the shop is just down from where I used to live. They manufacture these in Norfolk, England (my old company re-designed their offices) where I'm from, and they are the James Bond car (or have been a bunch of times )

OMG, Jonda!! A Quest is my Mommy dream car, too!!!!

My ultimate - - no kid - - dream car is a convertible Audi TT. Lovely!

I drive a 2000 Ford WIndstar.

Kerry--when I lived in Wilmslow, Cheshire, there were Ferri and Astin Martin dealerships right in the town center. We used to walk to the center every Saturday just to look at the cars.

Re: what kind of car do you drive? what do you WISH you drove?

I drive a Ford Expedition, maybe too big for a 5'0" girl but Im getting use to it, I would preferred an Explorer but this was the one offered at that moment so I got it, now I love it, there's plenty space for everything, I just try to not think about $Gas$$

I would love to drive a Mercedes-Benz GL450-SUV if talks about family:

But if just for me a single young and beautiful girl, this would be:Lexus SC

Re: what kind of car do you drive? what do you WISH you drove?

What a wonderful thread idea!

I currently drive a 2002 Ford Focus. Love my car. But if I had a "dream car" it would have to be a Jaguar XKR 2007. Convertible, of course...
