Bathtime help please (x-post)
Anyone know how I can get Haley to quit pooping in the bath? She does this everytime now! I don't know what to do. I tell her, "Ew yucky." She laughs at me. Any suggestions? Or do I just have to go with the flow?

Re: Bathtime help please (x-post)
How warm is the tub when you put her in? Try to use it as part of potty training. Put her in the tub for a few minutes, pull her out and put her on the potty to poop, then she gets to go back in. This is what I did with Gavin starting about 16 months of age. He was poop trained before pee trained. I have not had this problem with Samantha. She asks to get out to ue the potty. If they eliminate, either pee or poo in the tub, they don't get to get back in.

Re: Bathtime help please (x-post)
I will try that tonight. Thanks so much. I did take her out a couple days ago and sit her on the potty. Then DH got the wise idea of flushing it while she was still sitting there!!! Do men think before they do anything.
Her water is basically as warm as it can be without burning her, she loves warm baths. |
