I have one friend thats more like a brother to me, we have been friends for about 6 years. Anyway I know he is going through a lot, just got a job he hates and found out his ex is prego and she says its his but he has his doubts, hes going to all the appointments but wants a test when the baby is born (its a girl)

Well I called him today cuz i had to vent and ask him to check on my grandma that fell, i didnt even have a chance to say anything more than hi.. he went on and on about his job and this girl and his mom (who i love). Then he told me about his back hurting and nothign he does helps, i suggested a chriopractor and told him hints my uncle told me. He told me that my uncle doesnt know what hes talking about.. hmmm lets see HE WENT TO SCHOOL FOR IT MORON! he also has like 4 offices! he is a chriopractor for the wrangler rodeo (or at least he was) and almost went to the olympics do work on the people competing. then he says i got to go and hangs up before i could even say bye. It annoys me, yes i want to hear about whats going on with him, but still!!!

Actually yes I do. My BF is like that. If I call her and tell her things about my day and what has happened she is actually changing the subject to something she thinks that I dont know what I am talking about. I get to hear about how these guys she likes and how they use her for one thing and all. I am also explaining to her things about a house she is about to get and she is all up tight because she cannot afford but she can. And than I have to hear all her stories of her bad day and how her son dont call her.

I do alot for her and I feel like sometimes I am being taken advantage of at times. But I am a good friend and if she needs I am there and vice versa.

My Mom is like that. Sadly, that is one of the reasons we no longer talk.

Ooooohhh, I'm so sorry it seems to be a one-sided relationship at this time - those are so hard. You care about the person, but they don't seem to care back. Maybe he is too messed up to think about anyone but himself, but that still isn't an excuse.

Yep, I have a friend like that. Well, I should say ex-friend. I was very hurt about it for a long time and finally let it go. She still calls to talk about herself and then has to hang up if I mention anything about my life. This all happened after she converted to a different religion and I can only surmise that she sees me as some sort of heathen now. Very sad.
