    My Baby Boy Finally Got Here :)

    I just wanted to let everyone know that I finally had my little baby boy...I am sorry I haven't been on for a few weeks its been pretty hectic around here..Anyway..

    CJ or Christopher Jr. joined the world on Dec. 30th 2006 at 7 am in the morning..He was 6 lbs and 14 oz and was 20 inches long..As you all may know they found a cleft lip and possible palate in his ultrasounds before he was born well I am very happy to announce that his palate was in tact and he was perfect...His lip does have a cleft but it hasn't affected his eating or anything at all..We got to come home early from the hospital since he was doing so great..The girls are so proud of their little brother they have been helping out so much and Daddy is just beaming and I am so overwhelmed with joy to have my baby here..He is truely a perfect little blessing I am attaching a photo with this post so you can all see my little bundle of joy ..

    oh he is so cute. (I have a soft spot for cleft babies anyways LOL) I am glad to hear that he is feeding well and that his palate was intact. that I am sure was a relief. Congrats on such a handsome man.

    He is just too cute!! I'm glad to hear his palate is intact and he isn't having any troubles eating. As a mom of cleft lip & palate baby, it isn't easy when both are affected. Have they mentioned when they will do his surgery? Looks like it will be easy to fix. I wish they hadn't made you worry so much. CJ looks great!!!

    Thank you to everyone we are really proud of him ...And we are not sure when they will do his surgery we are waiting for our appointment with plastic surgery they put our consult in to them so as soon as we go talk with them we will know more but the ped. dr. when he was born said that it wouldn't be a extensive surgery since it was just the lip..He is up to 6 oz now he is a little porker already ...But he is doing so great I was so happy and relieved when we found out it was just the lip they had me so worried but I also was prepared for it so it gave me a chance to do the research and not just be blind sited by it as well but having him come out just as perfect as he could be was such a blessing and I thank you all so much for your prayers and concerns through all of this and support all the prayers were answered and God was really looking out for us and watching over us ...I will keep you all updated on his progress and his surgery the more I know and I will be taking more and more pictures and posting them as well ...

    I can't wait to watch him grow and change. You will truly be amazed!! Connor had his lip surgery at just under 3 months of age. He looked so different afterwards. (His soft palate surgery was done when he was 9 months old.) Enjoy your sweet baby boy!! He is just darling.
