    Wink Hi guys...

I know some of you will probably recognize me from SK P&B (SheKnows) or POP (Pack of Poppies). I frequent SK, but I never really get into posting over at POP...don't know why, just didn't develop a strong attachment to it. (it's a cool board though).

Maggie (myrmom) convinced me into joining over here. Hey Mags!

I'm Angela, DH is Andrew, we have one daughter named Hallie Kate who is going to be 14 months old on the 10th. I'm currently pregnant with #2 (7w5d), hoping this one will stick around (I've had 2 losses, one before Hallie and one after Hallie).

I have 2 kitty cats, and I love cats.

Nice to meet you all...I already see several faces I know!

I can't use the pager feature until I have 50 posts or more!

So they were the same weight, huh!

Hallie was born with TONS of nearly black hair, and not a stitch of it fell out...blew our minds. Me and DH were both blonde babies. As she's gotten older, it's lightened up to a brown!

    Re: Hi guys...

Hi Angela! I remember you from SK! Congrats on your beautiful baby girl.

Gosh, you're going to have to refresh my memory, but I think you were married to someone in the military but you got a divorce. Is that correct? If so, are you remarried? And I think you were originally from Texas and now live here again, from what I see?

It will be nice to see you posting again. I'm glad that Maggie told you about this place!

    Re: Hi guys...

Hi Annmarie! I remember you, too.

Yep, I was married to someone in the military and we divorced. Very sad to leave the relationship, I loved him so much, but I believe it was for the better of both of us. Hopefully he wont treat any future women like he treated me.

A month after I moved back home (to Texas, due to the divorce) I got a job working in the mall and met a few friends, moved in with a roommate to my own apartment, and enrolled back in college. It felt great!

About 3 and a half months after I moved back home I discovered I was pregnant (eek), I had been "seeing" someone named Andrew for about 2 months. Huge accident. Very rocky time in my life, my family shoved for an abortion...but we all know there was no way I could ever do that.

And here's my little Hallie! Andrew and I weathered the storm of pregnancy and birth (we didn't really know each other that well) and soon after she was born he started pushing to get married (and I promptly said HELL NO! haha) until finally, in March, we married. Things are great!

He actually leaves for the Air Force himself on October 30th.

Yep, I was married to someone in the military and we divorced. Very sad to leave the relationship, I loved him so much, but I believe it was for the better of both of us. Hopefully he wont treat any future women like he treated me.

Wow - it sounds like it all worked out like it was supposed to. Congrats on your marriage and good luck to your dh in the Air Force.

Your dd is a beautiful doll! Her eyes are gorgeous!
